     Welcome to Bunker Hill Vineyard & Winery, a "GREEN" environmentally responsible winery.  We are located on the Central West Coast of Florida in Duette (NE Manatee County).  We are a 23 acre "working Florida farm winery".  We grow & harvest from these 23 acres 100% of our Florida Muscadine wine grapes for our grape wines, the wild Muscadine grapes for our "Wild Hawk" wine and harvest our fresh 'old growth' citrus, bananas, and berries for our fresh whole fruit wine & Elderberry wines.   We grow seven different varieties of Muscadine grapes  and handcraft 10 different wines (red, rose`, white, including a sparkling red & a sparkling white).    All of our wines are pure wine, none are blended nor made with imported grapes or juices. All of our wines are "UNFILTERED"

       We have started a new line of "Fresh Whole Fruit" wines (Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Tangerine, Banana, etc.) We use fresh whole fruits also harvested from our lands.  These fabulous wines will be ready in January 2012.  All of our wines are aged in glass carboys at least 1 year in our "Wine Cave" before bottling.  Once our wines are bottled, they are corked with real, natural corks (no plastic or artificial corks).  Once corked, the bottles are then dipped in hot melted wax for that perfect seal!  

The irrigation for our vineyard is solar powered from a 1350 gal. cistern, filled from a natural flowing seep spring. We have elected to phase out applied fertilizers and have started using compost created by our composting "worm" farm.    

        Our single goal is to create the "Gold Standard" of Florida Wines!!
